Potato Puff Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. scalded milk
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. yeast
    2 eggs
    1 c. mashed sweet potatoes
    4 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Combine scalded milk, shortening, sugar and salt.
    Cool to lukewarm; add yeast.
    Blend in eggs, mashed potatoes, then add flour and mix until dough is well blended.
    Place in greased bowl; let rise until double in bulk, then turn out on floured board. Roll 1/2-inch thick; cut with biscuit cutter and let rise until light, then bake in hot oven 15 to 20 minutes until a golden brown.
