Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. white sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
3 c. or more small Spanish peanuts (raw)
1 c. Karo syrup
1 Tbsp. butter
2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Boil sugar, Karo syrup and water together until it spins a thread (232\u00b0 on candy thermometer).
Add peanuts; stir continuously.
Cook until it turns brownish gold (300\u00b0).
Take off heat; add butter, salt and soda.
Stir well.
Pour onto greased pans or plates to cool.
When cool, crack and store in airtight containers.
