Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. popped corn
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/4 c. Karo syrup
    1 c. roasted peanuts
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix margarine,
    sugar,
    syrup
    and
    salt in a saucepan. Bring to a
    boil and cook 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add soda and vanilla.
    Stir well.
    Pour over popped corn, to which the nuts have
    been
    added.
    Mix
    well.
    Place in a large flat pan and bake at 200\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Stir every 15 minutes.
    When cool enough to handle, break into pieces.
