Autumn Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can unsweetened, crushed pineapple (undrained)
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 c. diced apples
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. finely chopped celery
    1 c. Cool Whip
Preparation
    In a saucepan, combine pineapple and sugar.
    Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes.
    Add jello; stir until dissolved. Add cream
    cheese;
    stir.
    Cool.
    Fold in apples, nuts, celery and Cool
    Whip.
    Pour
    into a 9-inch square baking pan.
    Chill until firm.
    Cut into squares.
