Homestyle Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. elbow macaroni
    1 stick Parkay margarine
    1 1/2 c. grated mild Cheddar cheese
    1 c. Pet evaporated milk
    1 egg, well beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    pimentos (for garnish; optional)
Preparation
    Boil macaroni with pinch of salt until tender, then drain. Stir in margarine.
    Mix together the milk, egg, salt and pepper. Fold in macaroni along with 1 cup cheese.
    Stir well.
    Add pimentos if desired.
    Top with remaining 1/2 cup grated cheese. Dot with butter.
    Bake for 45 minutes at 400\u00b0.
