Peas And Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans peas
    2 cans asparagus
    3 c. Ritz cracker crumbs
    1/2 lb. margarine
    slivered almonds
    2 cans sliced mushrooms or can use fresh
    6 Tbsp. flour
    3 c. milk
    1 1/2 jars Old English cheese
Preparation
    Use a large casserole dish, Corning Ware is great if you have one.
    Melt 1 stick margarine in large skillet.
    Mix with cracker crumbs.
    Set aside.
    Melt 1 stick margarine in skillet.
    Add 6 tablespoons flour.
    Gradually add 3 cups milk to make a thick white sauce.
    Add 1 1/2 jars Old English cheese.
    Stir until cheese melts.
    Add mushrooms.
