Black-Eyed Peas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dried black-eyed peas
4 to 6 slices smoked bacon, cut in bite-size pieces
water
salt and pepper to taste
1 small onion, grated
Preparation
-
Rinse and clean and sort peas.
Soak overnight or bring to a boil and remove from heat and let sit for 1 hour.
Then add bacon and onion and cook until tender.
