Marinated Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can garden peas
    1 (16 oz.) can French-style green beans
    1 (16 oz.) can white Shoe Peg corn
    1 (2 oz.) jar pimientos
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1/2 c. diced bell pepper
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. canola oil
    3/4 c. white vinegar
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix garden peas, green beans, corn, pimientos, onion, bell pepper and celery together.
    Drain well.
    In a saucepan, bring the following to a boil:
    sugar, oil, white vinegar, pepper and salt. Pour over vegetables and refrigerate overnight.
