Mary Sherman'S Mincemeat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. ground beef, cooked (may also use venison)
    6 c. diced apples
    4 c. sugar
    1 c. molasses
    2 c. cider
    1 c. butter
    2 c. raisins
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cook all; save spices until apples are tender.
    Add spices and seal in jars.
    Makes several quarts and is delicious.
