Mexican Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium tomato
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. sausage
1 small onion
1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 (17 oz.) can kernel corn, drained
2 pkg. (8 1/2 oz.) Jiffy corn bread mix
1 (12 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
1 egg
1/3 c. milk
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
In skillet, cook ground beef, sausage, salt, black pepper, chili powder and oregano.
When halfway cooked, add chopped tomato, onion, bell pepper and corn until cooked all the way.
Drain grease.
In 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan, place meat mixture evenly in bottom of pan.
Spread Mozzarella on top of meat.
In small bowl, make Jiffy corn bread mix according to directions.
Pour corn bread mix evenly on top of meat and cheese mixture.
Bake in oven at 400\u00b0 until corn bread is golden brown.
Serves 12.
