Christmas Coconut Macaroons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can sweetened condensed milk (1 1/4 c.)
    3 c. coconut, packed
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    3/4 tsp. almond extract
    maraschino cherries for garnish
Preparation
    Mix the first 5 ingredients together.
    On greased cookies sheets, drop by teaspoonfuls 1 inch apart.
    Cut maraschino cherries into pieces and drain on paper towels.
    Top each cookie with a piece of cherry.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
    Carefully remove from cookie sheets after 1 minute and cool completely on racks before storing.
