Halibut Scampi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cloves crushed garlic
    2 medium whole tomatoes, diced
    1 bunch chopped green onions with tops
    lemon pepper
    2 sticks butter
    1 lb. halibut, cut into 1 x 4-inch slices
    1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
Preparation
    In large skillet, melt butter.
    Saute garlic, green onions and tops, diced tomatoes and jalapeno pepper.
    Add halibut; cook until 1/2 of the bottom turns white.
    Turn and continue cooking; don't overcook.
    Serve halibut in individual dishes with butter sauce poured over.
