Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. yellow cornmeal
1 c. flour
1 chopped onion
1 chopped bell pepper
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1 1/3 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. sugar

Preparation

Mix all ingredients and drop by teaspoons into hot grease and cook until golden.
