Cottage Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. lime flavored gelatin
    2 c. boiling water
    5 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 (15 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    15 maraschino cherries, chopped
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 (12 oz.) carton small curd cottage cheese
    1 c. whipping cream, whipped
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; add marshmallows, stirring until melted.
    Stir in pineapple.
    Chill until thick, but not firm.
    Add cherries, pecans and cottage cheese; fold in whipped cream.
    Pour into an oiled 2-quart mold.
    Chill until firm.
    Makes 8 servings.
