Sour Cream Chicken Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. chicken pieces
    flour (for dredging)
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. water
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    2 tsp. minced chives or green onion
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Dredge chicken pieces in flour.
    In skillet, heat margarine and brown chicken on all sides.
    Transfer pieces to casserole.
    Add mushrooms and mixture of sour crem and water.
    Sprinkle with thyme and chives (or onions).
    Cover well and bake until tender, about 1 hour.
    Serves well with fluffy rice. Serves 4.
