Strawberry-Spinach Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. asparagus spears
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. bottled poppy seed or Italian dressing
    1 tsp. finely shredded orange peel
    1 Tbsp. orange juice
    8 c. torn, fresh spinach
    2 c. sliced, fresh strawberries
    3/4 lb. cooked, cubed turkey
    1/4 c. toasted pecan halves
Preparation
    Snap off and discard woody bases from asparagus.
    Cut into 1-inch pieces.
    Add asparagus and water to 1-quart microwave-safe baking dish.
    Stirring once, cook, covered, on High, until tender-crisp, 5 to 7 minutes.
    Drain, rinse with cold water.
    Let stand in cold water until cool; drain.
