Shrimp In Beer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. Tabasco
    1 bay leaf
    2 tsp. minced parsley
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    3 Tbsp. minced onion
    salt
    1 c. beer
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Wash and dry shrimp.
    Saute shrimp and onion in butter 1 minute on each side.
    Add salt to taste, Tabasco and flour.
    Mix well.
    Remove from heat and add beer and lemon juice, stirring constantly.
    Bring to a boil; add bay leaf and thyme.
    Cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
    Discard bay leaf.
    Sprinkle with parsley. Serve with rice.
    Serves 4.
