Chocolate Angel Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat egg whites, salt and cream of tartar until foamy.
    Add sugar gradually.
    Continue beating until very stiff.
    Fold in nuts and vanilla.
    Turn into a greased pie plate, making a nest like shell building up sides above pan.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Cool completely.
