Filled Whole Wheat Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. whole wheat flour
1 egg white
scant 1/4 c. honey
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. crushed or broken walnuts
preserves
Preparation

Mix soft butter with honey.
Add flour; stir until soft dough forms.
Roll into tablespoon size balls.
Dip in egg white, then roll in nuts.
Put on greased cookie sheet.
Make indentation in center, pressing nearly through.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 5 minutes, then at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Five minutes before finished, fill each center with preserves.
