Lemon Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large lemon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground turmeric
1 c. parboiled rice
2 1/4 c. water
Preparation

Grate peel and squeeze juice from lemon.
In 2-quart saucepan over high heat, heat lemon juice, salt, turmeric and water to boiling.
Stir in rice; heat to boiling.
Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20 minutes.
When rice is done, stir in grated lemon peel.
