Apple Crisp #3 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced, peeled apples
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 egg
    1/2 to 1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/3 c. (5 1/3 Tbsp.) butter, melted
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Line buttered 8-inch square baking pan with apple slices. Sift dry ingredients together in a bowl.
    With a pastry blender, work in egg until consistency of coarse cornmeal.
    Sprinkle over apples.
    Drizzle with melted butter; sprinkle with pecans.
    Bake in a preheated oven at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes, or until lightly browned.
