Oatmeal Nut Crispies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    3 c. oatmeal (quick cook)
Preparation
    Mix shortening and sugars until fluffy.
    Add eggs; beat well. Add lemon extract and mix well.
    Combine flour, soda, salt and cinnamon; add to creamed mixture.
    Stir in oats and pecans; shape dough into 2 long rolls, 2-inches in diameter.
    Wrap in waxed paper; chill 2 to 3 hours or overnight.
    Cut into 1/4-inch slices. Place 2 to 3 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet.
