Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 stick margarine
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix as directed.
    Pour half of batter into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Melt caramels with milk and butter over low heat.
    Pour over cake. Sprinkle 3/4 of nuts and chocolate chips over caramel.
    Pour remaining cake batter over filling and sprinkle remainder of nuts and chips on top.
    Bake for 20 minutes.
