Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 8 potatoes (about 3 lb.)
3 large onions, sliced thin
3 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk, scalded
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 lb. sharp cheese
Preparation

Pare and slice potatoes very thinly.
Parboil in boiling salted water for 3 minutes, then drain.
Layer potatoes and onions in a 10-cup baking dish.
Sprinkle flour, salt and pepper between layers.
Pour milk over potatoes.
Dot with butter and cheese. Cover.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender and top is browned slightly. Serves 8.
