Italian Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes, crushed
1/2 to 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1/4 tsp. salt
6 c. sliced 1/4-inch potatoes (6 medium)
1 c. sliced 1/8-inch onion
1/2 c. (2 oz.) grated Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
Preparation

Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
Combine tomatoes, oregano and salt.
In greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan, place layer of potatoes and onion. Top with half of tomatoes and 1/4 cup cheese.
Repeat layers. Drizzle with olive oil.
Cover with aluminum foil.
Bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until fork-tender.
If potatoes become dry during baking, add 1/2 cup of water.
