Sangria - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 lemon
    2 bananas, peeled
    1 orange
    1 qt. red wine
Preparation
    Boil the water, sugar and cinnamon for 5 minutes and let the syrup cool. Cut the lemon, bananas and orange into slices and cover with the cooled syrup. Chill the mixture for several hours. Add ice, sliced fruit, 1/2 cup syrup and red wine. Stir the mixture thoroughly, mashing the fruit slightly. Serve the Sangria in well chilled glasses, garnishing each glass with some of the fruit.
