Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can jellied cranberry sauce
    1 (12 oz.) bottle Catalina style French salad dressing
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1 chicken, cut into fryer parts
    1 onion, sliced (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a saucepan heat first three ingredients until cranberry sauce is smooth.
    Put chicken in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Onions may be placed on and around chicken. Pour heated liquid mixture over chicken.
    Cover dish with foil and bake for about 1 1/2 hours.
