Shoo Fly Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup molasses
    1 Tbsp baking soda
    2 cups hot water
    4 cups flour
    2 cups brown sugar
    3/4 cup shortening
Preparation
    Mix and let stand to cool first 3 ingredients. Keep 3/4 of crumbs to place on top before baking. Pour molasses mixture into crumbs. Blend well. Bake at 350\u00b0 in ungreased pan, about 40 minutes. Enjoy!
