Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 (1 oz.) bottles red coloring
2 eggs
1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
Preparation

Cream Crisco and sugar.
Add vanilla and coloring; add eggs. Beat well.
Sift together flour, salt and cocoa.
Sift three times.
Mix dry ingredients with creamed mixture along with milk. Dissolve soda with vinegar.
Fold into mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
