Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. onions, minced
    1 stalk celery, minced
    1 green pepper, minced
    1 bay leaf
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 lb. raw, peeled shrimp
    1 medium can tomatoes
    1 can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Saute first five ingredients slowly in butter or sweet oil until light brown.
    Then add slowly shrimp, tomatoes and tomato sauce.
    Simmer one hour and serve over cooked rice.
