Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pie crust, baked
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 c. cold water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 box strawberry jello
    2 baskets strawberries
    Cool Whip (optional)
Preparation
    Blend sugar and cornstarch thoroughly.
    Add water and stir until mixture dissolves.
    Bring to a boil for 3 minutes.
    Mixture should be thick and clear.
    Remove from heat and stir in jello. Refrigerate until cool (not set).
    Add strawberries and pour into shell and set.
    Serve with Cool Whip.
