Molasses Candy(A Very Old Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 teacups molasses
    1 chunk of butter (size of an egg)
    1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
Preparation
    Melt butter in a big iron skillet, then take the 2 cups of molasses and stir in the butter.
    After the mixture begins to boil, stir constantly.
    Test the boiling mixture by dropping a little from a spoon into a cup of cold water.
    When the candy is brittle enough, lower the heat and add the vinegar.
    Stir in, then remove from heat; let cool.
    This is a taffy pulled candy.
    Keep pulling until it becomes light in color and becomes harder and harder to pull.
    Spread on table, then with the back of knife, quickly mark the pieces into 1-inch pieces.
    Then pick up candy and lightly tap in bite-size pieces.
