Navy Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. dried navy beans
    2 qt. hot water
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1/2 tsp. celery salt
    ham bone, bacon rind or salt pork
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Wash and pick over dried beans.
    Cover with cold water and soak overnight.
    Drain.
    Place beans with 2 quarts of hot water, onion, salt and pepper with meat in 3-quart pan.
    Cook over medium heat until cover vibrates or vapors escape.
    Reduce heat and cook 3 to 4 hours.
