Family Favorite Hamburger Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. Crisco oil
1 c. chopped onion
1 lb. ground beef round
1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen cut green beans
3 c. frozen Southern-style hash brown potatoes
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can zesty tomato soup
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. dried basil leaves
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Oil a 11 3/4 x 7 1/2-inch baking dish. Heat oil in large skillet on medium heat.
Add onion.
Saute until softened.
Push to one side of skillet. Add meat. Saute until brown. Add green beans. Cook and stir about 5 minutes or until thawed.
Add potatoes.
Combine tomato soup and water.
Stir until well blended. Stir into skillet. Stir in basil, salt and pepper. Spoon into casserole.
Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Makes 4 servings.
