Peanut Butter Surprises - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c butter or margarine, softened
    1 c crunchy peanut butter
    3/4 c firmly packed brown sugar
    3/4 c granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    2 1/2 c all-purpose
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 c coarsely chopped miniature peanut butter cups
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    Cream first six ingredients together until fluffy.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Gradually stir dye ingredients into creamed mixture.
    Stir in chopped butter cups.
    Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Remove from cookie sheet and cool on wire racks.
    Yield:
    approx. 5 dozen cookies.
