Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
    1 can cream-style corn
    1 lb. grated cheese
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
Preparation
    Brown ground
    beef,
    onions
    and jalapeno together.
    Mix meal, soda, salt,
    milk, eggs and corn together, put a layer of meal mixture, then a layer of grated cheese, then meat mixture. Bake in iron skillet for 30 to 40 minutes in 400\u00b0 oven.
