Lemon Snowballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 1/3 c. sugar
grated rind of 1 lemon
2 eggs (unbeaten)
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
6 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Cream together shortening, sugar and lemon.
Add and beat eggs until smooth.
Sift flour, salt, soda and cream of tartar.
Add alternately with lemon juice and water.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
