Fancy Peanut Soup(Serves 12) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 tsp. vegetable seasoning
1 qt. chicken stock
3 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. peanuts, chopped
1 qt. milk
1 onion, chopped
2 celery ribs, chopped
3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
freshly ground pepper
Preparation

In a pan over low heat, soften the peanut butter to allow for easy mixing with the milk.
Add the milk, salt, pepper and vegetable seasoning mixture.
Bring to a boil and then set aside. Saute the onion and celery in butter; do not allow to brown.
Stir in the flour as if making a gravy.
Add the chicken stock and stir constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.
It save a lot of time and elbow grease if the stock has already been brought to a boil.
Remove from the heat.
Combine with the peanut butter and milk mixture.
Return to the stove and over a very low heat, cook until all the ingredients are well blended.
