Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. sliced fresh zucchini
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 c. cottage cheese
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 beaten egg
    2 c. cooked rice
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. oregano
Preparation
    Cook zucchini in boiling salted water about 2 or 3 minutes. Drain.
    Saute meat, onions, garlic and seasoning until onions are transparent.
    Stir in rice and tomato sauce.
    Blend cottage cheese and egg.
    Arrange half of zucchini slices in a buttered shallow pan (2-quart casserole).
    Spoon mixture over zucchini, then arrange rest of zucchini on top.
    Place in 350\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbly.
