Butterscotch Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    2 tsp. Karo syrup
    3/4 c. Carnation cream
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bring slowly to a boil and stir constantly for 2 minutes or a little longer, if needed.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Add vanilla and beat until the right thickness to spread smoothly.
    I cook mine until it forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.
