Venison Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. venison
    1/4 lb. butter or oleo
    1 lb. mushrooms
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. red wine
    4 potatoes, cubed
    4 carrots, sliced
    1 can whole kernel corn
    flour, salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cut meat in small pieces.
    Dredge in flour.
    Melt butter and brown meat.
    Add mushrooms, onions, pepper and celery.
    Add beef stock to cover meat and vegetables.
    Simmer 2 hours.
    Then add wine, potatoes, carrots and corn.
    Cook 30 minutes more.
