Orange Peel Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put peel of 3 oranges in cold water to cover.
    Boil 1/2 hour. Drain.
    Repeat twice.
    Cool enough to handle.
    Scoop while out with spoon.
    Cut peel fine.
    Make syrup of 3/4 cup sugar and 3/8 cup water.
    When dissolved, drop in peel and cook until peel is transparent and syrup is almost absorbed (3/4 of a hour, more or less). Mix in order given.
    Add orange peel dredged with flour. Bake in greased and floured pan, about 45 minutes at 325\u00b0.
