Microwave Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

3 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 c. milk
4 c. thinly sliced white potatoes
2 Tbsp. minced onion
Preparation

Place butter in 1-quart casserole dish; microwave at High for 1/2 minute until melted.
Blend in flour and seasonings. Gradually stir in milk; microwave at High for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes.
Stir in potatoes and onion.
Cover. Microwave at High for 17 to 19 minutes, stirring after 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
