Vanilla Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 pie crust
    2 c. meringue
Preparation
    In a saucepan, mix sugar, flour and salt. Stir in milk.
    Cook until bubbly and stir for 2 minutes. Stir a portion of the hot mixture into egg yolks. Add to remaining hot mixture.
    Return to heat for 2 minutes. Add butter and vanilla.
    Pour into pie crust. Spread with a basic meringue and bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
