Crock-Pot Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    apples, peeled, cored and sliced
    4 c. sugar
    4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    Peel, core and slice apples into crock-pot (heaping full). Sprinkle sugar, cinnamon, salt and cloves over apples.
    Cover and begin on high until the apples begin to settle.
    Then turn to low and cook all day or until thick and dark.
    Stir occasionally. Whip when done.
    Freeze in containers.
