Turnips And Red Peppers - cooking recipe

3 Tbsp. butter
1 lb. (3 large) red bell peppers, sliced
1 lb. small turnips, pared and sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation

Melt butter in large, heavy skillet. Add the peppers, turnips and garlic. Stir-fry over medium heat, adding more butter if needed, until the turnips are tender when pierced with a knife. Season with salt and pepper.
