Ingredients

2 c. milk
2 eggs, separated
2/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
vanilla wafers
4 bananas
1/4 c. sugar
Preparation

Scald milk in top of double boiler over direct heat.
Mix egg yolks with sugar until creamy.
Add salt and flour.
Add slowly to milk.
Stir until right consistency.
Add vanilla.
Layer wafers, bananas, sauce and repeat.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Add
1/4 c. sugar to egg whites, bake until meringue is browned.
