Oatmeal Cocoa Chippers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. cocoa
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 c. butter, softened
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 eggs
    2 c. chocolate bits
    2 c. oats, uncooked
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven
    to 350\u00b0.
    In a small bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking
    soda
    and
    salt;
    set
    aside.
    In a large mixer bowl, combine
    margarine,
    brown
    sugar, granulated sugar and vanilla extract;
    beat until creamy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well
    after
    each
    addition.
    Gradually
    beat in flour mixture. Stir
    in
    chocolate bits, oats and walnuts.
    Drop by slightly rounded
    tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9 to
    11 minutes
    for chewy cookies and 12 to 13 minutes for crisp cookies.
    Let stand 2 minutes before removing from a cookie sheet; cool completely.
    Makes 4 dozen cookies.
