Louisiana Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. red beans
3 or 4 c. water
1 rib celery
1 clove garlic
1 medium onion
6 slices bacon, fried crisp
1 lb. sausage, cut in pieces
1 tsp. red pepper
salt to taste
Preparation

Soak beans overnight.
Drain and add about 3 cups of water to beans.
Add all ingredients to beans and cook on medium fire for about 1 1/2 hours or until beans can be mashed or cooked thoroughly.
If too dry at any time, add a cup of water, plus 1/2 cup of oil.
