New Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh cheese-filled tortellini
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 3/4 c. skim milk
    1 garlic clove, crushed
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    pinch of ground red pepper
    3/4 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, divided
    2 Tbsp. freshly grated Parmesan
    2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
    1 Tbsp. dry bread crumbs
Preparation
    Preheat broiler.
    Cook tortellini according to package directions.
    Drain.
    Melt butter; whisk in flour and cook until smooth and bubbly, about 1 minute.
    Gradually whisk in milk, then add garlic, salt and peppers.
    Cook, stirring constantly until thickened and just beginning to boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat; stir in 1/2 cup Cheddar and the Parmesan.
    Stir in tortellini and parsley.
    Transfer to shallow 1 1/2 quart casserole.
    In small bowl, combine remaining Cheddar and bread crumbs; sprinkle on top of casserole.
    Broil 4 inches from heat source for 1 to 2 minutes.
    Serve with salad.
    Makes 4 servings.
